Dubai commuters are set to enjoy easier and faster travel options this week as the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) introduces five new bus routes across the city along with upgrades to nine existing routes. The new services, launching on Friday August 29, 2025, are designed to meet the growing demand for efficient public transport as Dubai’s population edges closer to four million.
According to RTA officials, the expansion will improve connectivity between key districts such as Al Ghubaiba, Jebel Ali, Al Quoz, Dubai Silicon Oasis, and Al Qusais, while also ensuring smoother integration with metro, tram, and marine transport services.
New Dubai Bus Routes August 2025
- Route 31: Dubai Outsource City – Dubai Silicon Oasis
Running every 20 minutes during peak hours, this route provides a direct and convenient link between the two growing business hubs. - Route 62A & 62B
Split from the existing Route 62, these new services connect Al Qusais Industrial Area to Al Qusais Metro Station (62A) and Al Qusais Metro Station to Ras Al Khor – Samari Residences (62B), with buses every 30 minutes. - Route F26A: Onpassive Bus Station – Al Quoz Industrial Area 4
Improving connectivity in Al Quoz Industrial Area, buses will operate every 30 minutes during peak hours. - Route X91: Al Ghubaiba Bus Station – Jebel Ali Bus Station
An express service cutting travel time between Al Ghubaiba and Jebel Ali. Unlike Route 91, this service skips Business Bay Metro Station. Passengers heading to Business Bay can continue using the modified Route 91, operating every 30 minutes.
Upgrades to Existing Dubai Bus Routes
From the same date, nine current routes will be adjusted:
- Route 7 → Changed from a circular route to a two-way service between Al Quoz Bus Station and Al Satwa Bus Station.
