Ingredients
- 4 slices of whole-grain bread
- 2 tablespoons of butter, softened
- 1 ripe avocado, mashed
- 4 fresh figs, sliced
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Prepare the Bread: Start by spreading butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Assemble the Sandwich: On the unbuttered side of two slices, spread a generous amount of mashed avocado. Top with sliced figs, then sprinkle with salt and pepper. Drizzle a small amount of honey over the figs.
