Delicious and Healthy Jowar Pizza Recipe

Ingredients for Jowar Pizza:

  • 1 cup jowar flour
  • 1.5 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt to taste
  • Cheese for garnishing
  • Veggies of your choice
  • Pizza sauce as required
  • Fresh basil for garnishing
  • Chilli flakes for garnishing
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese

Instructions for Making Jowar Pizza:

  1. Start by taking a large mixing bowl suitable for kneading dough. Combine all the dry ingredients and gradually add lukewarm water and a bit of oil to knead the dough until smooth.
  2. Place the dough in a frying pan (off heat) and stretch it to cover the entire base, giving it a good shape and texture.
  3. Prick the base all over with a fork. Rub some oil on top and cook, covered, for 5-6 minutes over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and flip the base.
  4. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the base. Add your preferred veggies or proteins like paneer, chicken, or pepperoni.
  5. Top with feta cheese, cover the lid, and cook until the cheese melts. If using an oven, bake the pizza at 400°F.
  6. Garnish with red chilli flakes or fresh basil and serve hot.
