Honor Play 80 Plus Debuts with Massive 7500mAh Battery and Snapdragon Chipset: Price and Full Specs Revealed

Honor Play 80 Plus has officially been introduced in China as part of Honor’s latest Play series, bringing a strong focus on battery performance and everyday usability. The smartphone is now available for pre-order and comes in stylish colour options including Aquamarine, Floating Gold, and Inkstone Black.

Positioned in the budget segment, the device starts at approximately CNY 1,699 (around Rs. 24,000) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. Additional configurations with higher RAM and storage options are expected, though their pricing details have not yet been disclosed.

The smartphone runs on MagicOS 10, based on Android 16, offering a smooth and updated software experience. It features a 6.61-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1604 pixels, along with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,010 nits, ensuring decent visibility and fluid scrolling.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor, paired with an Adreno 613 GPU. Users can expect reliable performance for everyday tasks, supported by up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

In terms of camera capabilities, the phone includes a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, suitable for basic photography needs. On the front, a 5-megapixel camera handles selfies and video calls.

One of the standout features of the device is its large 7,500mAh battery, designed for extended usage without frequent charging. It also supports 45W wired fast charging, allowing users to quickly power up when needed.

Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security and various sensors such as an accelerometer, proximity sensor, compass, and gravity sensor. Connectivity options cover 5G support, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

With a weight of around 205 grams and a slim profile, the Honor Play 80 Plus aims to balance performance, battery life, and affordability, making it a compelling option in the budget smartphone category.
