Ingredients:

  • 350 grams of boneless chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon tandoori masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Cooked rice, as needed
  • Sliced onion
  • Sliced tomato
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • Chopped lettuce
  • Tandoori sauce (optional)

Method:

  1. Begin by preparing the marinade for the chicken. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, tandoori masala, coriander powder, turmeric, red chili powder, salt, and lemon juice.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl with cling wrap and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Arrange the marinated chicken pieces on skewers and grill them until they are charred, which should take about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Warm the tortilla wrap and place a portion of cooked rice in the center. Add the grilled chicken pieces, sliced onions, tomatoes, coriander leaves, and lettuce. For extra flavor, you can drizzle some tandoori sauce.
  5. Fold the tortilla to form a burrito, ensuring it is evenly wrapped. Your tandoori chicken burrito is now ready to be enjoyed!
