To begin making this snack, heat one tablespoon of desi ghee in a pan and gently roast the peanuts on a low flame until they turn crunchy. Remove and keep aside. In the same pan continue roasting almonds followed by cashew nuts and watermelon seeds each one separately until they turn golden and aromatic. Add the raisins next but just for a few seconds as they puff up quickly. Roast the thinly sliced coconut pieces until they are lightly browned and set aside.
Now in the same pan pour a little more ghee and sauté green chillies and fresh curry leaves for a few seconds. Add the makhanas and roast them till they become crispy and light.
