Ingredients for Bok Choy Salad:
- 350 grams of baby bok choy
- 0.5 tbsp white sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 0.75 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 0.5 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tsp tahini
How to Make Bok Choy Salad:
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and blanch the halved baby bok choy for 2 minutes.
- Remove the bok choy from the boiling water and place it into cold water to retain its crunch. Then, transfer it to a plate.
- For the dressing, toast the sesame seeds in a dry cast iron skillet for 2 minutes.
- Grind the toasted sesame seeds into a smooth paste and mix with the remaining dressing ingredients. Whisk until creamy and smooth.
- Drizzle the desired amount of dressing over the bok choy. Serve the salad at room temperature or chilled.
