During the chat, the 27-year-old leg-spinner was asked which player he would most like to face in a boxing match. Without hesitation, Abrar named Dhawan, saying, “I want to box, and I want Shikhar Dhawan standing in front of me.” The clip spread like wildfire, with fans from both nations reacting with a mix of amusement and criticism.
The timing of the comment added to the buzz, coming shortly after India’s victory over Pakistan in the 2025 Asia Cup final in Dubai.
