Apple’s anticipated iPhone SE 4 is expected to make its debut by early 2025, rumored to be an upgraded version of the popular iPhone SE (2022). A recent leak reveals that this fourth-generation SE model may feature a 6.06-inch LTPS OLED display with 800 nits of peak brightness, utilizing Samsung’s M11 OLED technology, previously seen in the iPhone 14. This new design is said to introduce Face ID and eliminate the home button, making it the first SE model to include these updates. Powering the device will be Apple’s A18 chip, produced with TSMC’s N3E process technology, and paired with 8GB RAM, delivering fast and efficient performance. This iPhone SE 4 might also mark Apple’s introduction of its in-house Centauri modem, developed with TSMC’s help.

The camera setup on the iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to see a significant enhancement, with a 48-megapixel rear camera featuring the Sony IMX904 sensor, alongside a 12-megapixel front-facing TrueDepth camera with autofocus. Reports indicate that the device may come with a 3,279mAh battery, the largest in the SE lineup, offering 20W USB-PD fast charging and 15W MagSafe wireless charging. Expected to launch in March 2025, this model might retail between $499 and $549, offering 128GB storage as the base model—double that of its predecessor.
