Asus has introduced the latest additions to its gaming smartphone lineup with the launch of the ROG Phone 9 Pro and ROG Phone 9. Both models are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and offer up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. They come equipped with a robust 5,800mAh battery. The series boasts a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10 support, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The phones also feature an IP68-rated build.
For photography enthusiasts, the ROG Phone 9 series includes a triple rear camera setup, highlighted by a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 700 sensor, along with a 13-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The front houses a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. The Pro Edition also includes an AeroActive Cooler X Pro for enhanced cooling.
The pricing for the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro starts at EUR 1,200 for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model, while the base ROG Phone 9 is priced at EUR 1,099 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The Pro Edition with 24GB RAM and 1TB storage costs EUR 1,500. These phones are available in Phantom Black and Storm White finishes, with the Pro Edition exclusive to the Storm White color.
