Big Mamma Group is set to make a grand entrance in Dubai with the opening of Gloria Osteria at the Ritz-Carlton DIFC this December. Bringing its signature Italian charm to the Middle East, Gloria Osteria promises a culinary journey celebrating authentic Italian flavors and la dolce vita.
Staying true to the Big Mamma philosophy, the restaurant serves dishes crafted with premium ingredients including 24-month Parmigiano Reggiano from Famiglia Gennari, fresh mozzarella from Caseficio Artigiana, and extra virgin olive oil pressed in artisanal mills across Italy. Guests can enjoy hand-rolled pasta prepared fresh daily, paired with rich sauces and high-quality proteins.
Designed to evoke the elegance of 1970s Milan, Gloria Osteria features velvet banquettes, monumental chandeliers, and golden mirrors. The restaurant opens onto a spacious terrace overlooking DIFC, making it ideal for leisurely lunches or evening dinners in a sophisticated setting.
Big Mamma Group has built a reputation for vibrant dining experiences across Europe with restaurants such as Pink Mamma in Paris, Circolo Popolare and Jacuzzi in London, and Bel Mondo in Madrid. Gloria Osteria continues this tradition under the guidance of Executive Chef Pietro Zamuner, offering both Italian classics and signature creations.
The menu highlights include lobster-stuffed Casoncelli all’astice with beurre blanc and caviar, Cacio e Pepe with a four-pepper blend, lamb and wagyu saltimbocca with scamorza and sage, and Mafaldine al Tartufo topped with fresh Melanosporum truffle shavings. Along with a lively playlist and generous portions, Gloria Osteria promises a dining experience that balances elegance with a sense of fun.
