Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni Tension Rumors Intensify After New Eyewitness Account: She ‘Hardly Seemed Happy’

Date:

The rumors of tension between It Ends With Us co-stars, Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively, have been circulating for some time now. Recently, the speculation gained further traction as the two stars were spotted waving their hands at each other during breaks on set. Despite being co-stars, they did not interact at the film’s premiere and avoided promoting the movie together at any event. Baldoni, who directed It Ends With Us, has hinted at his reluctance to return for a sequel. A newly surfaced video from an eyewitness appears to show the two actors engaged in a heated exchange during a break in filming.

In this video, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni were seen outside a restaurant in New Jersey. The footage captures Lively gesturing animatedly towards Baldoni while talking to him during a break, before walking away. Baldoni then approached her again, waving his hands in response to whatever Lively had said earlier. The conversation ended with Lively saying “ok” before she walked away. The video was originally shared on Instagram by the eyewitness, who claimed that the two were “arguing.”

However, according to TMZ, there was no argument between the two. A source who was on set that day confirmed this. Conversely, an eyewitness who wasn’t part of the crew mentioned that Lively often visited the area and “hardly seemed happy.” This could, however, be attributed to the domestic violence theme in the adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s book.

The rumors of discord between Baldoni and Lively began last week when the two failed to appear together at the premiere. Several sources suggested that Baldoni created an uncomfortable atmosphere on set. One source noted, “None of the cast enjoyed working with Justin. They clearly avoided him at the premiere,” according to Page Six. On the other hand, others have defended Baldoni, saying that he would never deliberately make anyone feel unsupported on set. In a recent interview, Baldoni even suggested that Lively should take on the role of directing the sequel. He remarked, “I think Blake Lively is ready to direct. I believe she’s the perfect fit for it.”
