Boat has officially introduced the Wave Fortune smartwatch in India, bringing advanced features like NFC-based contactless payments, Bluetooth calling, and comprehensive health tracking—all at a budget-friendly price. This launch strengthens Boat’s position in the affordable wearable segment with a smartwatch designed for both fitness enthusiasts and tech-savvy users.
Priced at Rs. 3,299, and available for a limited time at Rs. 2,599, the Boat Wave Fortune can be purchased via the brand’s official website in an elegant Active Black variant. The smartwatch features a large 1.96-inch rectangular touchscreen with a resolution of 240×282 pixels and up to 550 nits of brightness. It also supports wake gestures and is fully customisable through the Watch Face Studio.
In collaboration with Axis Bank, Boat has introduced NFC Tap & Pay functionality on this smartwatch. Using the Boat Crest Pay app, users can link Axis Bank credit or debit cards and make tokenised payments up to Rs. 5,000 without a PIN, thanks to Tappy’s secure technology. This allows for seamless transactions via NFC-enabled POS machines, enhancing daily convenience.
Beyond payments, the Boat Wave Fortune smartwatch is packed with more than 700 active fitness modes and essential health sensors including a heart rate monitor, SpO2 tracker, stress monitor, sleep tracker, and a menstrual cycle tracker. It also offers sedentary alerts and daily activity insights to help users stay on top of their health goals.
Connectivity is powered by Bluetooth 5.3, and the device supports Bluetooth calling, making it easy to answer calls directly from the wrist.
