Global K-pop icons BTS have sparked massive excitement among fans after revealing that additional cities and venues will be added to their upcoming 2026–2027 world tour. The announcement was made during a late-night Weverse livestream where all seven members RM Jin Suga J Hope Jimin V and Jungkook connected with fans ahead of the release of their highly anticipated album ARIRANG.

During the live session the group confirmed that they have formally requested their agency to expand the tour schedule beyond the initially announced locations. The statement immediately reignited hope among fans in countries that were missing from the first tour rollout including India. While BTS did not confirm specific new destinations the assurance that more cities will be added has fueled strong speculation that India could finally see its first-ever BTS concert.

The world tour is scheduled to begin in April 2026 in Goyang South Korea and will run until March 2027 making it one of the longest and most ambitious tours of the group’s career. The initial schedule includes shows across Asia North America South America Europe Australia and parts of the Asia Pacific region. However the absence of India from the original list had disappointed a large section of the global fanbase given the group’s massive popularity in the country.

The tour will open with three concerts in Goyang before moving to Tokyo followed by an extensive North American leg covering major cities in the United States Mexico and Canada. After returning briefly to South Korea for Busan shows BTS will head to Europe with performances planned in Spain Belgium the UK Germany and France. A second North American phase will follow before the group travels to Latin America and finally wraps up the tour with a long Asia Pacific leg ending in March 2027.

With more cities yet to be revealed anticipation continues to grow across regions that were not initially included. Indian fans in particular are closely watching for official confirmation hoping that BTS will finally bring their stadium scale production to the country. Given the group’s global reach and record-breaking demand the possibility of India being added now feels closer than ever.
