Rapper Cardi B has openly criticized her estranged husband Offset following reports that he is seeking spousal support amid their ongoing divorce proceedings. The drama unfolded during a live session on X Spaces early Friday, just one day after TMZ revealed Offset had filed for spousal support and joint custody of their children.
Cardi B did not hold back as she accused Offset of failing to contribute financially to their three kids, alleging that she has been solely responsible for their education, extracurricular activities, and other expenses. The rapper also questioned Offset’s mental state, expressing concern for his well-being and asking, “Are you on drugs?” She emphasized that the recent changes in his behavior have left her confused and concerned.
“I don’t know what happened over the last six or seven months. You were never like this,” Cardi B said during the live session. Despite their conflict, she admitted to still allowing Offset visitation because “the kids love you.”
The latest public dispute comes after Offset submitted an amended divorce response earlier this May, requesting joint custody and asking for Cardi B’s home to be recognized as the primary residence for their children. Offset and Cardi B had filed for divorce in August 2024 after seven years of marriage.
