Losing excess weight without undergoing intense dieting is now more achievable, thanks to a plant-powered meal plan shared by renowned non-invasive cardiologist Dr. Bimal Chhajer. Featured in a recent episode of The Gaurav Thakur Show, Dr. Chhajer introduced his “Magic Diet” (referred to as ‘Jadoo Diet’), which offers a sustainable and hunger-free approach to weight loss.
This unique dietary method promotes a low-calorie intake by focusing on natural vegetarian foods that are nutritious and filling. According to Dr. Chhajer, this balanced routine can help an individual shed at least 7 kilograms in just one month — all without the need for expensive supplements or severe food restrictions.
“The logic is simple,” Dr. Chhajer explained. “When you fill your stomach with high-calorie items, weight gain is inevitable. But if you fill it with low-calorie, plant-based foods, you won’t feel hungry, and your weight will begin to drop naturally.”
The Magic Diet encourages three primary meals centered around fruits, vegetables, and legumes. Mornings start with black tea and plenty of fresh fruits. Lunch is a combination of protein-rich dal (like moong or masoor) mixed with raw vegetables such as carrots, beetroots, and cucumbers. Dinner consists of soup, salad, and boiled vegetables to keep digestion light and nutrient intake high.
This dietary pattern, he says, is designed for short-term implementation. “You don’t need to follow this forever — just a month at a time. In three months, it can help you drop between 10 to 20 kilograms if followed diligently,” Dr. Chhajer added. He also shared an example of a woman in Kolkata who successfully reduced her weight from 86 kg to 62 kg solely through this plan.
The Jadoo Diet stands out for being cost-effective, easy to follow, and free from the emotional toll of starvation. It aligns with holistic wellness by supporting heart health, reducing cholesterol, and encouraging natural fat loss.
