Huawei recently introduced the Mate XT Ultimate Design, the world’s first triple-screen foldable phone. International luxury device manufacturer Caviar has now unveiled a new series of custom 24-karat gold Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design models, including the Black Dragon and Gold Dragon versions. These models are available in storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The tri-fold phone is powered by an octa-core Kirin 9010 chipset and features a 5,600mAh battery.
Caviar’s custom tri-fold Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design comes in Black Dragon and Gold Dragon versions. The Black Dragon version is priced at $12,770 (approximately Rs. 10,69,000) for 256GB, $13,200 (approximately Rs. 11,06,000) for 512GB, and $13,630 (approximately Rs. 11,41,000) for the 1TB model. The Gold Dragon model costs $14,500 (approximately Rs. 12,14,700) for 256GB, $14,930 (approximately Rs. 12,50,808) for 512GB, and $15,360 (approximately Rs. 12,86,900) for the 1TB version. These limited edition models will be available in only 88 units.
In China, the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design starts at CNY 19,999 (approximately Rs. 2,37,000) for the base model with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The Gold Dragon version is adorned with 24K gold and features engravings inspired by the ancient Chinese technique of multi-layer forging of Longquan swords. The Black Dragon model is covered in black alligator leather and includes gold-plated inserts.
The Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design operates on HarmonyOS 4.2 and has a 10.2-inch flexible LTPO OLED main screen. Folding the screen once transforms it into a 7.9-inch display, while a second fold converts it into a 6.4-inch screen. The phone is equipped with a Kirin 9010 chipset.
For photography, the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design boasts a 50-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5.5x optical zoom and OIS. There is also an 8-megapixel camera on the display.
The device includes a 5,600mAh battery that supports 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. Huawei has announced that the Mate XT Ultimate Design will be launched in global markets in the first quarter of next year.
