The creative minds behind Honeycomb Hi-Fi and Miss Lily’s have unveiled their latest venture, Cocina Tres, bringing the vibrant tastes and culture of Mexico straight to Dubai. Located in Pullman Dubai Downtown, Business Bay, this restaurant captures the essence of coastal Mexico while keeping you in the heart of the city.
From the moment you step inside, Cocina Tres immerses guests in a lively atmosphere. Bold colors, hand-painted tiles, and geometric columns reminiscent of Luis Barragán’s iconic architecture create a visual feast. The sunlit terrace offers a perfect spot to enjoy the lively energy and sunny vibes of a Mexican getaway.
The interior combines rustic wood beams with textured walls, achieving a modern hacienda ambiance. Tiger masks from Guerrero adorn the ceviche bar, putting the spotlight on fresh seafood dishes.
The kitchen is helmed by chefs flown in from Mexico, ensuring authenticity in every bite. Tortillas are freshly made using imported Oaxacan corn on a custom molino, while wood-fire grilled specialties and sharing plates add a dramatic flair. Signature dishes include Baja fish tacos, smoky fideo seco with prawns, and the show-stopping pescado zarandeado, a whole fish prepared Nayarit-style over wood fire and coated in rich red adobo.
