  • Salt to taste
  • Water (as needed)

For the Chicken Filling:

  • 250g Minced Chicken (Thigh)
  • ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
  • ½ tsp Whole Coriander Seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • ½ tsp Amchur Powder
  • 1 tsp Kasuri Methi
  • 1 medium Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Green Chilies (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Ginger (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Coriander Leaves
  • Oil for frying

How to Prepare Chicken Samosa

Step 1: Preparing the Dough

  1. In a mixing bowl, add all-purpose flour, ghee, salt, and ajwain. Combine well.
  2. Gradually add water and knead into a firm dough. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.

Step 2: Making the Chicken Filling

  1. Cut the chicken thighs into small pieces and grind them lightly to get a minced texture.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and whole coriander seeds. Fry for a few seconds.
  3. Add onions and sauté briefly. Then, add the minced chicken and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Season with salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, amchur powder, and kasuri methi. Mix well.
  5. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let the chicken cook for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Once cooked, turn off the heat and allow the stuffing to cool completely.

Step 3: Assembling the Samosas

  1. Knead the dough once again and divide it into small portions. Roll each portion into an oval shape and cut it in half.
  2. Shape each half into a cone, using water to seal the edges.
  3. Fill each cone with the chicken mixture and seal the bottom properly. Repeat for all samosas.

Step 4: Frying the Samosas

  1. Heat oil in a deep pan over low to medium heat.
  2. Carefully place the samosas in hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
  3. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
