Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster action spy thriller Dhurandhar continues its extraordinary run at the box office even after completing 30 days in theatres. Released on December 5, the film has shown no signs of slowing down and has firmly established itself as the biggest Hindi film of 2025. Despite entering its fifth week, the movie remains the top choice for audiences, outperforming new releases and setting new benchmarks for long-running theatrical success.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar recorded a strong jump on its fifth Saturday by earning ₹11.75 crore, pushing its total worldwide collection to an impressive ₹759.50 crore. This resurgence into double-digit daily earnings highlights the film’s sustained audience appeal and strong word of mouth. With this milestone, Dhurandhar has officially become the highest-grossing Hindi film globally, a rare achievement for a movie deep into its theatrical run.
The film has enjoyed an exceptional consistency at the domestic box office, registering ₹10 crore-plus daily collections for 28 consecutive days. This streak briefly paused with an ₹8.75 crore collection on the previous day but quickly recovered over the weekend. Notably, the film remains unaffected by the release of competing titles, including the war drama Ikkis, proving its dominance across screens.
In terms of weekly performance, Dhurandhar opened to a massive ₹207.25 crore in its first week. The second week witnessed even stronger momentum with collections touching ₹253.25 crore. The third week added ₹172 crore to the tally, while the fourth week continued steadily, reinforcing the film’s blockbuster status. These figures underline the film’s rare ability to grow rather than dip as weeks progress.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar features Ranveer Singh in a powerful lead role alongside an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, Rakesh Bedi and Manav Gohil. The story revolves around an undercover Indian intelligence officer operating in Pakistan’s Lyari region to infiltrate a dangerous Baloch gang. Ranveer Singh essays the role of Hamza Ali Mazari, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, while Akshaye Khanna portrays the formidable gang leader Rehman Dakait.
The narrative blends intense action with real-world geopolitical events, drawing inspiration from incidents such as the Kandahar plane hijacking, the 2001 Parliament attack and the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. The gripping storyline and high-octane performances have played a key role in keeping audiences engaged across multiple viewings.
With its unprecedented success, anticipation is already high for Dhurandhar 2, which is scheduled to release on March 19 across multiple languages including Hindi Telugu Tamil Kannada and Malayalam. If the current momentum is any indication, the franchise is poised to set even bigger records in the future.
