Lacey Chabert is set to headline a landmark collaboration between Disney and Hallmark Channel, marking the first time the two entertainment giants unite for a holiday movie. The upcoming film, titled Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True, will be shot at the iconic Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and is scheduled to premiere in 2026 as part of Hallmark’s 17th annual Countdown to Christmas slate. Joining Chabert are Travis Van Winkle, Taegan Burns, Richard Kind, and Asher Alexander, rounding out a festive ensemble cast.
The project was officially revealed during The Hallmark Christmas Experience: A Hometown Holiday, shortly after the broadcast of Chabert’s recent release, She’s Making A List. The film is written and directed by Ryan Landels and promises to blend classic Hallmark charm with the timeless wonder of Disney magic.
The story follows Lindsey, played by Chabert, who heads to Walt Disney World with her family for what she hopes will be the perfect Christmas vacation. However, her plans take an unexpected turn when she discovers that her hotel room is right next door to Philip, portrayed by Travis Van Winkle — a man she recently endured a disastrous first date with. As both families enjoy their holiday adventures, the two find themselves constantly crossing paths and slowly realising they may have more in common than they thought. With a little help from the enchantment of Walt Disney World and a heartfelt wish cast at Cinderella Fountain, their frosty dynamic begins to warm into something special.
Chabert shared her excitement via Instagram, expressing how meaningful it is to film a holiday story in a place she has loved visiting since childhood. She highlighted how rare it is for a Hallmark film to be announced a full year in advance, calling the collaboration “the perfect setting for a Hallmark Christmas movie.”
Disney and Hallmark will also expand their partnership with a dedicated product line inspired by the film, including exclusive ornaments, greeting cards, gift wrap, and holiday merchandise. Darren Abbott, Hallmark’s chief brand officer, described the collaboration as a natural evolution of their long-standing partnership, emphasizing that this new movie captures the heartwarming spirit of both brands.
