Drake Unveils Three New Tracks on Instagram, Featuring Playboi Carti Collaboration

In a surprise move, Drake treated his fans by sharing three new songs through his hidden Instagram account. On Friday, August 23, 2024, he released three audios on this secretive account, including a collaboration with Playboi Carti titled “No Face” and two solo tracks “Circadian Rhythm (The Language 2)” and “SOD.”

This isn’t the first time Drake has leaked his music through his burner account. Earlier in August, he similarly dropped three tracks featuring collaborations with Latto, 21 Savage, and Young Thug. These songs were later officially released and made their debut on the Billboard Hot 100. Fans anticipate that the recent leaks will also be available on streaming platforms soon.

The track “No Face,” featuring Playboi Carti, continues the duo’s collaboration, following their 2020 hit “Pain 1993.” In this track, Drake addresses those he feels have betrayed him. “Circadian Rhythm,” produced by Gordo, serves as a continuation of “The Language” from his 2013 album “Nothing Was the Same,” with Drake reflecting on his survival in the rap industry. The final track, “SOD,” is a solo version of “Super Soak,” which had previously been featured on Kai Cenat’s stream. However, the official version will exclude Yachty’s verse due to sampling issues. DJ Akademiks hinted at a music video for “SOD,” as mentioned by Billboard.
