Gaming enthusiasts in Dubai can mark their calendars as the Dubai Esports and Games Festival is officially set to return in 2026 with an even bigger lineup of activities and attractions. After drawing more than 45,000 attendees last year, the popular event will now take place from May 22 to June 7, offering a citywide celebration of gaming culture.
First introduced in 2022, the festival has quickly become one of the region’s leading gaming events, bringing together players, creators, and fans of all ages. This year’s edition places a special emphasis on inclusivity and family-friendly participation, aligning with the UAE’s Year of the Family initiative.
Among the major highlights is the return of GameExpo, which will be hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre from June 5 to June 7. Visitors can explore a wide range of interactive experiences, from trying out the latest video game releases to enjoying nostalgic retro titles.
The expo will feature multiple themed zones spread across two large halls, including immersive areas like futuristic districts, competitive battle arenas, and high-speed gaming setups.
