Father of Spain’s Young Football Star Lamine Yamal Hospitalized After Stabbing Incident

According to reports from La Vanguardia, Mounir Nasraoui, the father of 17-year-old Spanish football sensation Lamine Yamal, has been hospitalized after being stabbed multiple times near Barcelona.

The Spanish newspaper, citing unnamed official sources, noted that Nasraoui is in serious but stable condition. Authorities have reportedly made several arrests, although specific details have not been released. Local police have yet to provide a statement regarding the incident.

Lamine Yamal, who recently celebrated his 17th birthday, was a key player in Spain’s European Championship victory in July. He assisted Nico Williams in scoring the opening goal in the 2-1 triumph over England, contributing to Spain’s success in the tournament.

Yamal also earned the tournament’s best young player award, cementing his reputation as a rising star in the football world.
