Coldplay is all set to perform four monumental live shows in the United Arab Emirates this week, marking a historic moment in the region’s entertainment landscape. The globally renowned English band will take the stage at the 45,000-capacity Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, January 9, Saturday, January 11, Sunday, January 12, and Tuesday, January 14.
In light of the overwhelming response to their initial concert announcement, which led to three additional dates being added, special transport arrangements have been introduced to facilitate easy access for fans. These include complimentary shuttle bus services running between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, exclusively available to ticket holders.
To ensure smooth traffic flow and timely arrival for attendees, Coldplay ticket holders can benefit from a free park-and-ride service from Dubai. The shuttle buses will depart from Expo City Dubai starting at 12:50 PM on each concert day, offered on a first-come, first-served basis. For fans already in Abu Dhabi, shuttle services will depart from Al Shahama, Sas Al Nakhl, Al Raha, and Nation Towers from 1:57 PM, also operating on a first-come, first-served basis.
After each show, return shuttles will be available to transport attendees back to their original departure points. However, it is important to note that the Dubai Metro may not be operational for return journeys from the capital, so alternate travel arrangements should be considered.
Concertgoers planning to drive to the event are advised that on-site parking at Zayed Sports City Stadium will not be available. Instead, fans can park their vehicles at designated locations in Al Shahama, Sas Al Nakhl, Al Raha, or Nation Towers and take advantage of the shuttle services provided.
Further updates on shuttle bus timings and transport arrangements are expected to be announced soon. For the latest details, keep checking Time Out Dubai for updates on these arrangements.
