Fitness enthusiasts in the UAE have an exciting opportunity as free Spartan workout sessions are being hosted in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the lead-up to some of the biggest Spartan Middle East races of 2025. These intense training classes are designed to prepare participants for the upcoming challenges and provide a taste of what it’s like to compete in the world-renowned Spartan Race.
What is Spartan Race?
For those unfamiliar, the Spartan Race is one of the toughest obstacle course challenges in the world. It combines endurance, mental strength, and physical performance with obstacles spread across several kilometers. Competitors climb, crawl, run, and carry heavy loads as they battle through one of the most rewarding race experiences.
Free Spartan Strong Workouts at Warehouse Gym
In collaboration with Warehouse Gym, Spartan organizers are offering complimentary hour-long high-intensity Spartan Strong sessions. These workouts mimic the demands of a real Spartan course with a mix of running intervals, weighted carries, climbing drills, and bodyweight exercises to build strength, stamina, and resilience.
- Abu Dhabi (Yas Bay, Warehouse Gym): Sunday August 24 and Sunday September 7 from 10:30am to 11:30am.
- Dubai (Al Quoz and The Springs, Warehouse Gym): Sunday August 31 at 10:30am in Al Quoz, and Sunday September 14 at 11:00am in The Springs.
The first series of training events coincides with the upcoming Spartan City Race at Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi on Saturday September 20.
Upcoming Spartan Middle East Races 2025
These free sessions are just the beginning. Fitness fans can also look forward to two more big Spartan events before the end of the year:
- Spartan Trifecta Weekend at Al Ain Zoo – Saturday October 11 and Sunday October 12.
- Spartan x Tough Mudder Weekend at Wadi Hub Hatta – Saturday November 1 and Sunday November 2, as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge.
