- 3–4 dry red chillies roasted
- 4–6 garlic cloves
- ½ tsp tamarind paste
- 1 tsp jaggery powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1–2 tsp red chilli powder
For the green chutney:
- 1 cup coriander leaves
- 1 cup mint leaves
- 1 cup raw mango pieces
- ¼ cup roasted peanuts
- 1 inch ginger chopped
- 2–3 green chillies
- ¼ cup water
- ½–¾ tsp salt
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tbsp jaggery or sugar
Bread Base:
- 22–24 bread slices cut into 2-inch rounds
- Butter or ghee for toasting

- Mix the vada filling ingredients and roll into small balls.
