Google has officially introduced Pixel Care+, a new device protection plan designed for Pixel smartphones and Fitbit wearables in the United States. The programme offers customers an upgraded level of service with free screen replacement, free battery repairs, unlimited accidental damage claims, extended warranty coverage, and direct access to priority support.
According to Google, Pixel Care+ delivers $0 deductibles for screen and battery repairs, ensuring that users of the Pixel 10 series, Pixel Fold, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Watch 4, Fitbit Charge 6, Fitbit Sense 2, and several other models can access genuine parts and professional repairs without hidden costs.
What Pixel Care+ Offers
The Pixel Care+ plan comes with a variety of benefits aimed at making device maintenance simple and cost-effective. These include:
- Unlimited accidental damage coverage
- Free screen replacement and battery repair
- Mechanical breakdown and post-warranty malfunction claims
- Fast-track repairs with genuine Google parts
- Priority support from Pixel experts
- Optional loss and theft coverage
- Self-service claims through the Google Store and My Pixel app
Customers can file a claim online, schedule an appointment, or book a repair slot at authorized service centers, all directly from the Google Store or My Pixel app.

Notably, Pixel Buds are excluded from the programme. Users must enroll within 60 days of purchase via the Google Store or the My Pixel app. Pricing depends on the device and coverage options selected, with both monthly and fixed-duration plans available.
Transition From Google Preferred Care
Current subscribers of Google Preferred Care and Fi Device Protection will automatically be transitioned to Pixel Care+ in the coming months. This move ensures existing customers continue to receive enhanced benefits under the new plan.
