Fresh leaks have revealed new details about the upcoming Google Pixel 10a just days before its official launch on February 18. High quality renders circulating online offer a closer look at the smartphone’s design language and colour options confirming a familiar yet refined look compared to its predecessor the Pixel 9a. The leaked images suggest that Google is continuing its clean minimalist approach for its popular mid range Pixel lineup.
According to the leaked renders the Google Pixel 10a will arrive in four colour options black red off white and lavender. These shades are expected to be marketed as Obsidian Berry Fog and Lavender. Google has already hinted at the Lavender variant during its recent launch teaser reinforcing the credibility of the leak. The design shows a flat AMOLED display with a centrally aligned hole punch selfie camera and evenly sized bezels on all sides.
On the rear the Pixel 10a appears to feature a pill shaped camera bar housing a dual camera setup similar to previous Pixel A series phones. The volume rocker and power button are positioned on the right edge maintaining Google’s established design layout. Overall the phone closely resembles the Pixel 9a with subtle refinements rather than a dramatic redesign.
In terms of specifications the Pixel 10a is expected to sport a 6.3 inch full HD plus AMOLED display with a peak brightness of up to 2000 nits and a dynamic refresh rate ranging from 60Hz to 120Hz. Powering the device could be Google’s in house Tensor G4 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM. Storage options are tipped to include 128GB and 256GB variants.
Camera hardware is expected to include a 48 megapixel primary sensor alongside a 13 megapixel ultra wide lens while the front camera could use a 13 megapixel sensor. The phone may also pack a large 5100mAh battery and offer up to seven years of software and security updates. Pricing is expected to start around $499 placing the Pixel 10a firmly in the competitive mid range smartphone segment.
