Google’s upcoming Pixel 9 series has seen a fresh wave of leaks, revealing a redesigned rear camera island. Set for a grand unveiling at the August 13 hardware event, the Pixel 9 lineup is generating a buzz with its new aesthetics. Recent renders highlight the Pixel 9 in a striking pink hue, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL appears in a sleek porcelain finish.
This new design marks a shift from the wide, solid bar of the Pixel 8 series to a standalone oval island in the middle of the rear panel. The glossy back panels and matte camera bars add to the phones’ sophisticated look.
Renowned tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore shared these renders on X, showcasing the Pixel 9’s flattened sides and rounded corners. Alongside the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL, the event will also introduce the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The Pixel 9 series is expected to feature Android 15, the Tensor G4 SoC, and up to 16GB RAM.
The standard Pixel 9 will sport a 6.24-inch AMOLED display, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL will boast a larger 6.73-inch AMOLED screen. Anticipation is high as the launch date approaches, with Google already teasing previews of its latest flagship models.
