The standard Pixel 9 appears with the model number GUR25, while the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL are listed with model numbers GEC77 and GZC4K, respectively. Google has yet to provide official details, but these listings suggest some of the connectivity features we can expect, such as support for 5G, Bluetooth, NFC, and Wi-Fi.
Google Pixel 9 Series Specifications (Rumored)
Google recently offered a glimpse of the Pixel 9 Pro through teaser videos. The Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL are expected to be unveiled next month alongside the Pro model. Google is holding its next Made by Google event on August 13, where these new devices are likely to be introduced. Although the IMDA listing does not disclose any specifications, it confirms several connectivity options for the Pixel 9 series.
According to previous leaks, the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro will feature a 4,558mAh battery, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL might come with a 4,942mAh battery. The standard Pixel 9 is rumored to have a 6.24-inch display, and the Pro model could sport a 6.34-inch screen. All models are expected to run on Google’s Tensor G4 processor and the latest Android 14.
Google has been actively promoting the new series with teaser videos, building anticipation for the launch. The Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold have been confirmed for release in India on August 14, following the global launch.
