Google has made it easier for Pixel Buds owners to replace damaged or lost components. The tech giant now offers replacement earbuds and eartips for the Pixel Buds 2a and Pixel Buds Pro 2 through its online store in India, the US, and select international markets. Previously, users had to fill out a self-service form on the Google Support page to get replacements, but the process has now been streamlined.
In India, individual Pixel Buds 2a earbuds are available in Iris and Hazel colourways, priced at Rs. 6,499 per earbud. Replacement eartips for the 2a are priced at Rs. 1,900 in Hazel and come in four sizes: extra small, small, medium, and large. In the US, replacement cases for the 2a are sold at $55 (approx. Rs. 4,837).
Replacement components for the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are also available, including individual earbuds for $70 (approx. Rs. 6,200) in Porcelain, Hazel, Wintergreen, Peony, and Moonstone shades. The replacement case is priced at $95 (approx. Rs. 8,400), while eartips cost $20 (approx. Rs. 1,760). Google has not yet confirmed if these components will be available in India.
The Pixel Buds 2a were launched in India during the Made by Google event in August and are priced at Rs. 12,999, available via Flipkart in Hazel and Iris colours. The Pixel Buds Pro 2, introduced in August 2024, retail at Rs. 22,900. Google warns that replacement parts may not always be in stock and colours may vary over time.
