Honor GT Pro Debuts With Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC 7200mAh Battery and 50MP Quad Cameras: Full Specs and Pricing Inside

Honor has launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Honor GT Pro, in China. This high-performance device is backed by a massive 7,200mAh battery and supports 90W fast wired charging. Powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the Honor GT Pro runs on MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15 and comes in multiple configurations with up to 16GB RAM and a whopping 1TB of internal storage. The device is available in stunning finishes like Phantom Black, Ice Crystal, and Burning Speed Gold.

Honor GT Pro Price and Availability

The Honor GT Pro starts at CNY 3,699 (approx. ₹43,000) for the base variant featuring 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The other configurations — 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB — are priced at CNY 3,999 (₹46,000), CNY 4,299 (₹50,000), and CNY 4,799 (~₹56,000) respectively. The phone is available for purchase in China.

Honor GT Pro Specifications

Sporting a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with a full-HD+ resolution of 1264×2800 pixels, the screen supports up to 144Hz refresh rate, 2,700Hz touch sampling rate, and a blinding 6000 nits peak brightness. The display is protected by Giant Rhino Glass, designed for durability and gaming.

Under the hood, the phone features the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, coupled with an Adreno 830 GPU, offering a smooth multitasking and gaming experience. The Honor GT Pro is offered with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, ensuring ample space and speed for heavy users.

Camera Features

The Honor GT Pro is packed with a powerful triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel wide sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor supporting 3x optical and 50x digital zoom. On the front, it sports a 50-megapixel selfie camera for high-resolution selfies and video calls.

Additional Features

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C, and GPS systems like Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and NavIC. It features a range of sensors such as a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, gyroscope, IR sensor, X-axis linear motor, and proximity sensor. The device is also equipped with the Honor-developed RF-enhanced C1+ chip for superior signal strength.

Battery and Build

The device houses a 7,200mAh battery supported by 90W SuperCharge, allowing fast top-ups. The phone also includes an E2 power efficiency chip, improving energy management. It measures 162.1 x 75.7 x 8.58mm and weighs about 212g. The phone holds IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering premium dust and water resistance.
