Honor has confirmed the official launch date of its upcoming Honor GT Pro, which is set to be unveiled in China on April 23. The smartphone will be positioned as a premium variant above the standard Honor GT, offering several enhancements in terms of design and specifications. Alongside the Honor Tablet GT, the Honor GT Pro will make its debut at the launch event set to begin at 2:30 pm local time (12:00 pm IST).
The Honor GT Pro will be available in three striking color variants: Burning Speed Gold, Ice Crystal, and Phantom Black. The official images showcase a sleek design with a square-shaped rear camera module housing four camera sensors, an LED flash, and the distinct GT branding. The phone features a flat display with a centrally placed hole-punch cutout for the front-facing camera.
In terms of performance, the Honor GT Pro is expected to run on the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, offering superior processing power. It will boast a 144Hz refresh rate display for smooth visuals and an advanced 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Additionally, the phone will come with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for enhanced speed and efficiency. The display will feature Oasis polarized eye protection with rhino glass protection to safeguard the screen during intense gaming sessions.
The Honor GT Pro will likely sport a large 6.78-inch display with 1.5K resolution, making it an excellent choice for gaming and multimedia consumption.
