Honor is set to unveil new GT products on December 16 at 7:30 pm local time in China (5 pm IST), according to a recent announcement. The company has yet to disclose the exact names of these new devices, but one of the anticipated releases is the Honor 100 GT. The phone’s design has been teased, showcasing a rectangular rear camera module featuring two sensors and a pill-shaped LED unit. The module also has a “GT” inscription in one corner, and the teaser displays the phone in a white/silver color variant. The device is confirmed to run on MagicOS.
Rumors suggest that the Honor 100 GT will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and will feature a “high-density silicon” battery. The phone is expected to have a flat LTPS display with a 1.5K resolution and eye-protection technology. Additionally, it may sport a 50-megapixel Sony “IMX9xx” main camera and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for enhanced security.
The Honor 90 GT, which was launched in December 2023, featured a 50-megapixel dual rear camera system, including a Sony IMX800 sensor, a 6.7-inch full-HD+ OLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging. It also had a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The upcoming Honor 100 GT is expected to bring several upgrades over its predecessor, including the new chipset and enhanced camera capabilities.
