Honor has officially introduced its latest flagship foldable the Honor Magic V6 during Mobile World Congress 2026 showcasing major upgrades in battery capacity performance and durability. The new device arrives with a slimmer profile enhanced hinge design and a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset positioning it among the most advanced foldables announced this year.

The Honor Magic V6 features a 6.52 inch LTPO 2.0 cover display and a large 7.95 inch LTPO 2.0 inner screen both supporting adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz. Peak brightness reaches up to 6000 nits on the outer display and 5000 nits on the inner panel ensuring improved HDR visibility even under bright lighting conditions. The inner display uses ultra thin flexible glass and carries SGS certification for minimized crease depth with the company claiming a noticeable reduction compared to its predecessor.

Powering the foldable is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with advanced vapour chamber cooling for sustained performance. The phone is expected to offer up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. It runs on Android 16 based MagicOS 10 with Honor promising seven major OS upgrades.

Photography is handled by a triple rear camera setup including a 50 megapixel primary sensor with OIS a 64 megapixel periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom and a 50 megapixel ultra wide camera. Both inner and outer displays house 20 megapixel selfie shooters. AI powered imaging features such as AIMAGE Portrait Engine and AIMAGE Color Engine are designed to enhance detail colour accuracy and portrait depth.

A major highlight is the 6660mAh silicon carbon battery developed with ATL supporting 80W wired charging 66W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. Honor claims improved energy density and longer battery life thanks to fifth generation silicon carbon technology.

Durability has also been reinforced with an upgraded hinge rated at 2800MPa strength and tested for 500000 folds by SGS. The device measures 8.75mm when folded and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Honor also previewed its AI driven Robot Phone concept alongside the MagicPad 4 tablet and MagicBook Pro 14 laptop indicating broader innovation within its ecosystem. Pricing and regional availability for the Honor Magic V6 will be announced closer to its market release in the second half of the year.
