Chinese smartphone brand Honor is reportedly preparing to introduce another device focused on extreme battery performance, with leaks suggesting a capacity of up to 11,000mAh. This development follows the recent launch of the Honor Power 2, which already pushed boundaries with its 10,080mAh battery and fast charging capabilities.

According to information shared by tipster Digital Chat Station, the company has begun trial production of a new high-capacity battery rated at approximately 10,690mAh, with a typical capacity expected to reach around 11,000mAh. If accurate, this would make it one of the largest batteries ever included in a mainstream smartphone.

While the exact model name has not yet been confirmed, early speculation suggests the device could be part of the Power series lineup, potentially arriving as a successor to the Honor Power 2. Honor has been steadily expanding its portfolio of long-lasting devices, including the Honor Win and Honor Win RT, both of which feature 10,000mAh batteries.

The Honor Power 2 itself supports 80W wired fast charging and 27W reverse charging, delivering extended usage times such as over 14 hours of gaming and more than 17 hours of navigation on a single charge. Similarly, the Win series offers impressive endurance, with claims of over 16 hours of gaming and more than 30 hours of video playback.

Beyond battery performance, the Honor Power 2 features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite processor. It also includes strong durability ratings and a capable camera system, making it a well-rounded device.

The upcoming model is expected to further strengthen Honor’s position in the growing segment of high-capacity smartphones, competing with offerings from brands like OnePlus, Realme, and Vivo, all of which have recently introduced devices with larger batteries.

If the reports are confirmed, this next-generation device could set a new benchmark for smartphone battery life, appealing to users who prioritize extended usage without frequent charging.
