Honor is reportedly getting ready to expand its Power smartphone lineup, as a new device believed to be the Honor Power 2 has surfaced on Geekbench ahead of its expected China launch in January 2026. The benchmark listing offers an early look at the phone’s processor, memory, and software, while recent leaks also hint at a design inspired by Apple’s iPhone Pro series.

The Geekbench database shows a handset carrying the model number HONOR SER-AN00, which is widely tipped to be the Honor Power 2. According to the listing, the phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM and Android 16-based MagicOS 10. The chipset features a prime core clocked at 3.40GHz, supported by three performance cores at 3.20GHz and four efficiency cores at 2.20GHz, along with an ARM Mali-G720 MC8 GPU.

In benchmark results, the device achieved scores of around 1,728 in single-core tests and 6,762 in multi-core tests. These numbers suggest a moderate performance improvement of roughly seven percent over the Dimensity 8400, indicating incremental gains rather than a major leap in processing power. GPU performance is also expected to see only minor enhancements.

Beyond specifications, leaked images shared by a Chinese tipster indicate that the Honor Power 2 may feature a large centrally aligned triple-camera module on the back, giving it a look similar to recent iPhone Pro models. The leaked visuals also suggest an orange colour variant, alongside more traditional black and white options.

Previous reports claim the Honor Power 2 could sport a 6.79-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 50-megapixel main rear camera, and a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. One of the biggest talking points is its massive battery, which is rumoured to be around 10,000mAh or slightly higher, supported by 80W fast wired charging. Wireless charging is unlikely to be included.

For comparison, the original Honor Power, launched in China earlier this year, came with an 8,000mAh battery, 66W fast charging, and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. With a larger battery and a newer MediaTek chipset, the Honor Power 2 aims to strengthen Honor’s position in the battery-focused mid-range smartphone segment.
