Honor has officially introduced its latest budget smartphones, the Honor X5d Plus and Honor X5d, expanding its entry-level lineup. Both models were launched in Malaysia and share similar design, build, and overall features, making them attractive options for users looking for affordable devices with reliable performance.
The two smartphones come with a modern design and are available in Midnight Black and Tidal Blue color options. They are currently available for purchase through the official Honor online store in Malaysia. Despite their budget positioning, both devices offer a balanced combination of performance and battery life.
In terms of pricing, the Honor X5d Plus is offered at MYR 459 which is approximately Rs 11000 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. Meanwhile, the standard Honor X5d is priced at MYR 369 which is around Rs 9000 and comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
Both smartphones run on Android 15 based MagicOS 9.0, delivering a smooth and updated software experience. They feature a 6.74 inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels along with Eye Comfort and Dynamic Dimming technology for better viewing.
Under the hood, the devices are powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 processor, paired with ARM Mali G52 MC2 GPU and 4GB RAM. This setup ensures stable day to day performance for basic tasks and light gaming.
When it comes to cameras, both phones feature dual rear camera setups along with a 5 megapixel front camera for selfies. The Honor X5d Plus stands out with a 50 megapixel primary rear camera offering better photography capabilities, while the standard Honor X5d includes a 13 megapixel main sensor.
