Honor is gearing up to introduce its much-awaited Honor X9c 5G smartphone in India on July 7, adding a new contender to the midrange segment. The handset, which debuted in select global markets back in November 2024, will bring several premium features to Indian users, including a massive 108-megapixel main camera, a large curved AMOLED display, and rapid 66W wired fast charging support.

According to the brand’s official announcement, the Honor X9c 5G will be available exclusively via Amazon in India. Sales will begin on July 12, with the device offered in two striking colours — Jade Cyan and Titanium Black. It will launch in an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, catering to users who need a balance of performance and ample storage space.

Powering the Indian variant will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, paired with MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15. Honor says its updated MagicOS will deliver smoother performance and unique features like the Magic Portal for better cross-app multitasking, alongside AI-powered tools such as AI Motion Sensing and AI Erase for smarter image and app management.

The Honor X9c 5G will impress photography enthusiasts with its 108MP primary sensor boasting an f/1.7 aperture, optical image stabilization (OIS), electronic image stabilization (EIS), and up to 3x lossless zoom. Up front, users can expect a vibrant 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen featuring a 1.5K resolution, an ultra-smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and a 3,840Hz PWM dimming rate. It also comes with TÜV Rheinland certifications for Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light standards, making it more comfortable on the eyes.

Durability won’t be compromised either — the smartphone carries an IP65M rating for dust and 360-degree water resistance and has SGS drop resistance certification for added peace of mind. The build is sleek at just 7.98mm thick and weighs around 189g, making it comfortable to hold for long periods.

Keeping the phone powered is a 6,600mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports blazing-fast 66W wired charging, promising to keep users connected all day with minimal downtime.

With its premium features, sturdy design, and powerful hardware, the Honor X9c 5G is set to be a strong option for Indian consumers looking for a stylish yet capable midrange 5G phone this season.
