Amaka, a popular fitness coach, has inspired thousands online by sharing her incredible journey of losing 25kg in just four months through consistent lifestyle changes. Recently, she revealed exactly how she managed to shed 2kg in just three days after indulging in a heavy meal, proving that bouncing back after overeating is possible with the right approach.
In her Instagram update on August 9, Amaka reminded her followers not to be too hard on themselves when they overeat. “We’ve all been there, no one is perfect. The key is to focus on the right nutrition, hydration, and movement,” she explained. She followed a structured three-day eating plan combined with workouts focusing on weight training and walking 10,000 steps daily.
Her 3-Day Recovery Plan:
Day 1
- Breakfast: 750ml green smoothie (lettuce or spinach leaves, 2 large apples, thumb-sized ginger, 500ml water or coconut water)
- Lunch: Chicken pepper soup (3 medium pieces) with cayenne pepper, ginger, and spices
- Dinner: Large fruit bowl (4–5 cups watermelon and 1 large apple)
Day 2
- Breakfast: 2 large cucumbers, 1 big green apple, and morning drink (½ lemon, 1 tbsp chia seeds, ginger slices)
- Lunch: Chicken pepper soup (same as Day 1)
- Dinner: Egg salad (3 boiled eggs, lettuce, carrots, cucumber, cabbage, 1 tbsp salad dressing)
Day 3
- Breakfast: Green smoothie (same as Day 1)
- Lunch: Detox salad (1 cucumber, 1 medium avocado, carrots, tomatoes, lemon juice, 1 tbsp oil)
- Dinner: Large fruit bowl (same as Day 1)
Amaka stressed that this plan is not about quick-fix crash diets but a mindful reset to reduce bloating, improve digestion, and regain momentum after overeating. She also highlighted the importance of staying active, hydrating well, and listening to your body’s signals.
