Ingredients You’ll Need:
Take about 100 grams of makhana lotus seeds 1 cup peanuts 1 cup almonds 1 cup cashew nuts ½ cup watermelon seeds 1 cup raisins and 1 cup coconut pieces cut thin and lengthwise. For added flavour include 7 to 8 curry leaves 3 green chillies 1 teaspoon black pepper powder rock salt to taste 2 tablespoons powdered sugar ½ teaspoon red chilli powder 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder and around 3 tablespoons desi ghee for roasting.

Step-by-Step Cooking Method:
First heat a tablespoon of desi ghee in a pan and roast the peanuts on low heat until crispy then remove and set aside. In the same pan roast almonds cashews and melon seeds one after the other until golden then remove. Quickly roast the raisins for a few seconds and set them aside too. Next roast the coconut slices until lightly golden and crisp. Add a bit more ghee if needed and fry the curry leaves and green chillies for a few seconds. Now add the makhana to the pan and roast them until they turn crunchy. Once all your ingredients are roasted combine them back in the pan add black pepper rock salt red chilli powder and roasted cumin and toss everything together well. Switch off the flame and let the namkeen cool before storing it in an airtight container.
