Huawei is gearing up to introduce its next-generation wireless earbuds in China later this month, expected to arrive as the upgraded successor to the previous premium model. Pre-booking has already begun in the country, revealing the refined design and multiple colour variants that will be available at launch. The arrival could be timed alongside the company’s upcoming Mate 80 lineup.

The new Huawei earbuds are confirmed to debut with advanced NearLink Audio technology, a next-level wireless standard focused on delivering more efficient and high-quality audio streaming. This breakthrough solution is designed to reduce latency, maintain lossless audio transmission, and improve power efficiency significantly, which may lead to longer battery backup compared to older models.

Early information suggests that NearLink Audio can achieve up to 12Mbps high-speed data transfer and supports the L2HC codec for premium sound clarity. Huawei is said to focus heavily on active noise cancellation improvements as well, with redesigned microphone placements for better noise-blocking performance during calls and media playback.

The earbuds appear slightly more compact than the previous generation and will reportedly come in four stylish finishes: Snow White, Frost Silver, Earth Gold, and Sky Blue. The golden option has been highlighted in promotional teasers with a polished metallic edge for a more premium look and feel.

While full specifications and exact endurance ratings are yet to be disclosed, industry insiders expect stronger efficiency gains and longer total listening time than the earlier model’s 33-hour capability including the case. Huawei aims to position these upcoming earbuds as a top-tier rival to flagship alternatives from leading brands, backed by its latest wireless innovation and seamless connectivity.

More details including pricing and complete specifications are expected once Huawei officially announces the final launch date within this month.
