Huawei has officially introduced the Nova 14 lineup in China which includes the Huawei Nova 14 Ultra Huawei Nova 14 Pro and the standard Huawei Nova 14. All three smartphones are powered by the latest HarmonyOS 5.0 operating system and are equipped with a powerful 5500mAh battery supporting 100W ultra-fast charging. The Nova 14 Ultra and Pro variants feature a 50-megapixel RYYB main sensor with a variable aperture and come with dual front-facing cameras. A standout highlight of the Huawei Nova 14 Ultra is its satellite connectivity support and a robust IP68+IP69-rated design for dust and water protection while the Pro and base models offer IP65 certification.
The Huawei Nova 14 Ultra is priced at CNY 4199 (around Rs 49000) for the 256GB storage option while the 512GB and 1TB variants cost CNY 4499 (approx Rs 53000) and CNY 4999 (around Rs 59000) respectively. Available color options include Floating Light Gold Floating Light White Flowing Light Purple and Radiant Gold Black.
On the other hand the Huawei Nova 14 Pro is available at CNY 3499 (approx Rs 41000) for the 256GB model and CNY 3799 (around Rs 44000) for the 512GB version. It comes in attractive finishes like Ice Crystal Blue Ice Crystal Pink Frost White and Feather Sand Black. Meanwhile the base Huawei Nova 14 is priced at CNY 2699 (roughly Rs 32000) for 256GB and CNY 2999 (about Rs 35000) for 512GB storage with shades like Ice Blue Frost White and Feather Sand Black. Select versions with Kunlun Glass coating are also available for higher durability.
The Huawei Nova 14 Ultra features a 6.81-inch Full-HD+ LTPO AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1272×2860 pixels a dynamic 120Hz refresh rate and high-frequency 2160Hz PWM dimming. The phone is believed to be powered by a Kirin 9-series processor though the company hasn’t confirmed the chipset. The rear quad camera system includes a 50-megapixel RYYB primary lens with variable f/1.4 to f/4.0 aperture and optical image stabilization a 50-megapixel RYYB periscope telephoto lens with 3.7x zoom a 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor and a 1.5-megapixel multispectral color sensor. The front camera system includes a 50-megapixel sensor with 2x zoom and an 8-megapixel unit with 5x zoom both enhanced with AI features.
In terms of connectivity the Nova 14 Ultra offers Wi-Fi Bluetooth 5.2 GPS NavIC BeiDou QZSS Galileo NFC USB Type-C and satellite features. It also includes advanced sensors like gyroscope proximity light sensor ambient light sensor compass infrared gravity sensor and side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone weighs 204 grams and measures 163.4×75.6×7.78mm.
The Nova 14 Pro sports a slightly smaller 6.78-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display while the base Nova 14 comes with a 6.7-inch screen both supporting up to 120Hz refresh rate and protected by Aluminosilicate glass. The Nova 14 Pro is equipped with a quad camera setup similar to the Ultra but with a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor and an 8-megapixel ultrawide macro lens. The Nova 14’s triple rear camera includes a 50-megapixel RYYB main lens a 12-megapixel telephoto portrait sensor and an 8-megapixel ultrawide macro shooter. The Pro model also features the same 50MP and 8MP dual front camera setup as the Ultra while the base variant has a single 50MP selfie camera.
All three smartphones support fast 100W charging for the 5500mAh battery. The Nova 14 Pro measures 163.4×75.0x7.68mm and weighs 204 grams while the standard Nova 14 measures 161.7×75.48×7.18mm and weighs 192 grams. The new Nova 14 series is now available for purchase in China via Vmall.
