Huawei has officially expanded its smartphone lineup with the launch of the Nova 15 series in China, introducing the Nova 15 Ultra, Nova 15 Pro, and the standard Nova 15. The new range focuses on powerful batteries, advanced cameras, and premium displays, targeting users who want performance and style in one package. All three devices are now available for purchase through Huawei’s official website and run on HarmonyOS 6.0 out of the box.
The Huawei Nova 15 Ultra and Nova 15 Pro come equipped with large 6.84-inch LTPO OLED displays featuring Full HD+ resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, vivid color accuracy, and Kunlun Glass protection. Both models are powered by the Kirin 9010S chipset, offering flagship-level performance. The Ultra variant supports up to 1TB of internal storage, while the Pro model goes up to 512GB, making them suitable for heavy users.
In terms of photography, the Nova 15 Ultra stands out with a quad-camera setup, including a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a multispectral sensor. The Nova 15 Pro features a slightly toned-down but capable quad-camera system with a 50-megapixel primary camera, telephoto lens, ultra-wide sensor, and multispectral camera. Both phones also include a high-resolution 50-megapixel front camera and support 4K video recording.
Battery life is a major highlight, with both the Nova 15 Ultra and Nova 15 Pro packing a 6,500mAh battery supported by 100W wired fast charging. The Ultra model offers enhanced durability with IP68 and IP69 ratings, while the Pro variant comes with IP65 certification.
The standard Huawei Nova 15 features a 6.7-inch OLED display and is powered by the Kirin 8020 processor. It carries a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel sensor and a 6,000mAh battery with the same 100W fast charging support, making it a strong mid-range option within the lineup.
Pricing in China starts at CNY 2,699 for the Nova 15, CNY 3,499 for the Nova 15 Pro, and CNY 4,199 for the Nova 15 Ultra, with multiple storage configurations available. The phones are offered in Vibrant Green, Zero Degree White, Phantom Night Black, and Purple Goes Well With Everything color options.
