Infinix has officially launched its performance-driven GT 30 Pro 5G smartphone across select global markets, offering a robust feature set aimed at mobile gaming enthusiasts. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset, this handset packs a large 5500mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. The phone also features an advanced cooling system powered by AI, gaming shoulder buttons, and the proprietary XBoost Gaming Engine, making it an appealing option for high-performance gaming experiences.
The GT 30 Pro 5G is built around a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, TÜV Rheinland eye protection certification, and Gorilla Glass 7i durability. The display also includes a 2,160Hz touch sampling rate and delivers peak brightness up to 1100 nits, ensuring vivid visuals in any lighting conditions.
Offered in three configurations — 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB — the device comes with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage for faster multitasking and smoother app launches. It supports Android 15-based XOS 15 out-of-the-box and offers virtual RAM expansion up to 12GB. AI features are supported through Infinix’s Folax and DeepSeek R1 platforms.
On the camera front, the GT 30 Pro 5G includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens on the back, with a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The device also supports 30W wireless charging, along with 10W wired and 5W wireless reverse charging features.
Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS with NavIC, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance and comes equipped with an IR sensor. It has a slim 7.9mm profile and weighs 190 grams. A special Gaming Master Edition is also available, bundled with a MagCharge Cooler and a MagCase.
The GT 30 Pro 5G is available in three colour variants — Blade White, Dark Flare, and Shadow Ash — with pricing in Malaysia starting at MYR 1,299 for the 12GB+256GB model and MYR 1,499 for the 12GB+512GB option. Infinix has teased the Indian debut of the device, although an official launch date is yet to be announced.
