The upcoming Infinix GT 50 Pro 5G has reportedly surfaced online through new leaked images while also appearing on India’s certification platform, suggesting that the device could launch soon. The smartphone is expected to be the successor to the Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G, which debuted last year as part of the company’s gaming focused GT lineup.
According to reports shared by tech tipster Paras Guglani, real life photos of the device reveal key design details. The phone appears to feature a rectangular camera module on the rear panel with a dual camera setup. The primary camera is expected to include a 50 megapixel sensor accompanied by an LED flash.
The leaked images also show branding from Pininfarina, indicating that the device could be designed in collaboration with the well known Italian automotive design company. The handset may also include support for NFC connectivity. The power button and volume keys appear on the right side of the device while the SIM card tray is expected to be positioned at the bottom.
One of the standout design features is said to be a visible liquid cooling system integrated into the phone’s rear design. This cooling technology could help maintain stable temperatures during heavy gaming sessions or demanding tasks. Previous renders suggested that the device might also include green LED lighting effects and a textured rear finish that resembles carbon fibre.
The smartphone has reportedly appeared on the certification database of the Bureau of Indian Standards with model numbers X6840 and X6891. Although Infinix has not officially confirmed the device yet, this listing usually indicates that a launch in India could happen in the near future.
In terms of expected specifications the Infinix GT 50 Pro 5G may feature a 6.78 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The device could run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and as much as 512GB internal storage.
For photography the rear camera system is expected to include a 50 megapixel primary sensor along with an 8 megapixel ultra wide lens. On the front the smartphone might feature a 13 megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
While the company has not officially revealed launch details yet more information about the Infinix GT 50 Pro 5G is expected to surface in the coming weeks.
