Infinix has officially confirmed the India launch timeline for its latest 5G smartphone the Infinix Note Edge 5G following its recent global debut. Nearly a month after being introduced in international markets the handset is now set to enter the Indian market later this month with online availability locked in.
A dedicated India microsite has gone live confirming that the Infinix Note Edge 5G will launch in India on February 18 at 12pm IST and will be sold exclusively via Flipkart. The smartphone will be offered in three colour options including Stellar Blue Silk Green and Lunar Titanium with distinct finishes designed to appeal to different style preferences.
In terms of performance Infinix has revealed that the Note Edge 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor. The company claims the device has achieved an impressive AnTuTu benchmark score crossing 750000 points positioning it as a strong contender in the mid range 5G segment.
The smartphone will feature a slim 7.2mm profile and sport a large 6.78 inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED display. The panel is said to deliver up to 4500 nits of peak brightness and comes with TUV Blue Light certification along with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection for durability.
Fueling the device will be a massive 6500mAh battery with support for 45W fast wired charging. On the audio front the Infinix Note Edge 5G will arrive with JBL tuned dual speakers promising an enhanced multimedia experience.
Additional highlights include an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance an RGB Halo Light design element on the rear panel and a dual camera setup led by a 50 megapixel primary sensor. For selfies and video calls the phone will feature a 13 megapixel front camera similar to the global variant.
Globally the Infinix Note Edge 5G was launched at a starting price of around 200 dollars which roughly converts to Rs 18200 hinting that the India pricing could be highly competitive once announced officially.
