The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are widely expected to be unveiled in September 2026, potentially alongside Apple’s much-rumoured foldable iPhone.
According to fresh supply chain insights from industry analysts, Apple is prioritising strict cost control strategies to avoid passing increased production expenses on to consumers. Rising prices of memory components such as DRAM and NAND storage have been a growing concern across the smartphone industry, yet Apple appears determined to hold its ground on pricing for its premium devices.
Market research indicates that the starting prices of the iPhone 18 Pro models could remain at a similar level to the iPhone 17 Pro series. In key markets such as the United States and India, this would mean Apple maintaining its current flagship pricing structure rather than introducing a hike.
To achieve this, Apple is reportedly in discussions with major suppliers including Samsung and SK Hynix to secure more favourable deals for memory chips. On the specifications front, the iPhone 18 Pro series is tipped to feature Apple’s next-generation 2nm A20 Pro chipset, enhanced telephoto camera technology and larger battery capacities. Reports suggest the iPhone 18 Pro Max could offer a battery exceeding 5,000mAh, with regional variations in capacity.
