The upcoming iQOO 15 is making waves online after a leaked hands-on video showcased its unique colour-changing rear panel, while a Geekbench listing revealed powerful performance scores. Expected to launch as the successor to the iQOO 13, the iQOO 15 is already generating buzz among smartphone enthusiasts.

A short 19-second video posted by Sparrows News on YouTube highlights the iQOO 15’s sleek design featuring rounded corners and a back panel that shifts from grey to a pink hue depending on lighting angles. This eye-catching design element sets the iQOO 15 apart, though the exact material behind the effect is still under wraps. The iQOO branding appears at the bottom of the device, reinforcing the brand’s premium styling.

On the performance side, the iQOO 15 was recently spotted on Geekbench under the model number V2505A. The benchmark scores reveal 2,360 points in single-core tests and 7,285 points in multi-core tests. Powered by Qualcomm’s next-gen Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with an Adreno 840 GPU, the phone is said to include at least 12GB of RAM and will ship with Android 16 out of the box. The chipset configuration includes two prime cores clocked at 4.19GHz and six additional cores at 3.55GHz, suggesting top-tier processing power.

Rumors suggest the iQOO 15 will debut in October in China alongside the iQOO 15 Pro or Ultra model. Official teasers from iQOO have already hinted at a 2K Samsung AMOLED display and a vapour chamber cooling system designed to handle high-performance gaming and multitasking.

Battery capacity is expected to be a standout feature, with leaks pointing toward a massive 7,000mAh battery supported by 100W wireless fast charging. Camera capabilities are equally impressive, with a triple rear setup reportedly featuring three 50MP sensors, including a periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom for enhanced photography versatility.

If these specifications prove accurate, the iQOO 15 will likely be one of the most powerful and innovative smartphones of 2025, appealing to both gamers and photography enthusiasts alike.
